"Lox & Vodka is nothing short of remarkable & Caron's rich, elegant voice is always a pleasure to listen to. Every time they perform for our JCC the crowd goes wild! They get

everyone excited, involved, dancing & clapping. I received so many calls from members & non-members expressing their appreciation on selecting such a top notch band. They provide a first-rate show and are simply sensational & sparkling."
Eileen Berman JCC of Greater Baltimore

I must tell you that we were still receiving plaudits about our party and your music. We have received numerous written notes, e-mails, telephone calls, each one using every available superlative to describe our guests' responses to your outstanding performance and the stirring renditions of each song.

Caron DaleCarol and I spent several hours after the party just remembering and commenting on the many highlights of the day -- and how much it meant to us to be able to let our friends and neighbors enjoy Lox & Vodka. Caron, what you gave us with your endless energy and talent was very special, and we shall always have very warm and fond memories of our big birthday party, especially because of the musicians.

Thank you for an exceptional musical event! We look forward to the next time that we will be fortunate to be able to listen to all of you again. Stan, Rockville, Maryland

“Lox and Vodka” came to the Weinstein JCC in Richmond Virginia for a pre-Purim celebration. The evening was festive and very uplifting. What was so beautiful about the whole celebration was that the music appealed to all ages. Kids, teens, college kids, adults and seniors all had a wonderful evening listening to the music and dancing. Lox & Vodka not only plays great music, but they are inspiring and uplifting” Orly Lewis, Director of Adult Services, Weinstein JCC, Richmond VA

Out here in the wilds of eastern Prince George's County, where there ain't - in the vernacular - too many Jewish institutions, we don't very often get the opportunity to savor cultural Yiddishkeit: Jewishness outside the confines of the religious service. That's why the Nevey Shalom Men's Club called on Lox & Vodka; we needed a Klezmer fix!

And, we got a Klezmer fix, in spades. After the concert, to borrow some ageless lyrics, not a discouraging word was heard. We told the folks who called for tickets to come and enjoy, and they came and enjoyed. Since you were here, I've heard two questions: what took you so long to get Lox & Vodka here, and when are you bringing them back?

You were great! Seymour Alloy, Neveh Shalom Congregation, Bowie, Maryland

LOX & VODKA is great!

The Fairfax County Park Authority presents concerts in the parks every summer.  In 2005, we will present over 200 different artists, ranging from Zydeco to classical, pops to punk, rock to Klezmer. For each new season of concerts, we seek new artists who can provide the quality and diversity that our sophisticated Fairfax County audiences expect. Out with the old, in with the new.Somehow, Lox & Vodka is always new! This group of talented, personable and professional artists makes Klezmer music sound new every time. For some, bread and salt are staples. For the Park Authority concert series, Lox & Vodka are staples, their music salty and intoxicating.

"Lox and Vodka has played at the Chevy Chase Pavilion for the last several years for a special Chanukah celebration open to the public. The band provides the heart and spirit of the festivities with people from all generations singing, clapping and moving with the strains of the music."
Martha Bindeman, Finishing Touches

"Thanks for a wonderful evening, we all had a great time. I can't tell you how many people had great things to say about you and the band. Best of luck with everything, we will see you sometime soon, we hope!" Josh and Ellen, Shosh, etc.

"Dear Caron - Saturday was a day that went fom joy to joy. My daughter was radiant and confident at the bima. I could not have been more pleased for her or proud for myself. The celebration that followed was a huge success. Everyone had such a wonderful time. You and your band received rave reviews. Back at my home on Saturday night and Sunday morning we were still enjoying the memories. ... Please feel free to use me as a reference. My son's Bar Mitzvah is 2 1/2 years away. If you are available, could you please send me a contract? Many thanks! Warmly, Beth PS - Glad I listened to you about dessert!"

"Absolutely wonderful! Caron was so easy to work with. She was able to get everyone to dance. I have received so many complements from friends and family." Robin Berg

Thanks to your spirit and sensitivity, and the wonderful musicianship of your band, our wedding dinner-dance was the most loose and lively one I've ever been to -- and how nice that I can say that about my own wedding! So many people have told us that the opening Israeli dances were the best ice breakers they've ever experienced, and clearly they made for relaxed and spirited table conversation after, So again today rabah. Hope to see you soon! Warmly, Marilyn M.

Dear Caron and Lox & Vodka Musicians, Our family wants to express our very great appreciation for all you did to make Adam and Einat Moskof's wedding such a warm, inclusive, fun, and unique celebration for everyone attending. I hope your collective ears have been burning because everyone who spoke to us at the time or subsequently has remarked about how much they enjoyed your music and the way in which you shaped a collection of friends and family from disparate backgrounds, ages, and interests into a cohesive group of celebrants moving to the same joyous rhythms and feelings. Our Israeli family members, friends who had not danced Israeli dances for years and those who had never danced them were alike enchanted with the experience of moving together.

We also want to express our pleasure in the sensitivity you exhibited in selecting appropriate music and varying your selections. It was so pleasant to be able to dance to songs we had selected, to rely on your good judgement regarding the mood and preferences of the guests and to know that you would honor our request for keeping the sound volume within bounds. Caron, we are also grateful for your experienced hand guiding the wedding procession. Whenever we recall the day, we will remember you all with great affection. Sincerely, Patricia and Howard Einat and Adam

Hello Lox and Vodka, I just wanted to express our belated thanks to you for making such great music at our wedding. We know that our set up (mechitza for the first set only) and the diversity of our guests presented a challenge, and you helped us to not only overcome it, but also to have a great evening all around. Everyone commented to us how much they enjoyed Lox and Vodka. Thank you for helping to make our wedding so special. Sincerely, Howard and Deborah

Caron, Everything was fabulous!! Your band, the best. The Beatles music, my favorite besides the traditional Klezmer stuff. You were a great MC and my family has done nothing but call me on the phone, one by one, telling me that it was the best Bar Mitzvah that they had ever been to. I can't thank you enough. Love Linda

"Lox and Vodka put on a spirited show (filled with ruach) at the Focus Inn Alexandria. Led by Caron Dale, who, in my opinion, is one of the two best vocalists performing Klezmer music today, the group ably moved from Klezmer and Chanukah classics to some tunes familiar to all (including a Monkees song!) At the beginning of the evening, I told a long time attendee that he would be dancing before the evening was out. He swore to me that that would never happen. It had been years since he'd danced. As nearly the entire audience was up and dancing, I noticed the giant smile on his face as he danced past me. So if you're looking for an evening filled with fun, song and dance, you can't do better than go to a Lox and Vodka show. Better yet, book them for a special occasion." Caren, Please share with the guys how appreciative we were and how you "made" our celebration the festive fun event it was. You are so skilled at managing groups without being pushy. You were one of us. Your musical talents are terrific too.
Also know that you did at least one mitzvah as the innkeeper Lisa was in tears with emotion, how she reconnected with her long lost Russian roots. I hope you get some work from this connection too.  Hope our paths cross. David joins me in our thanks. Frankie
